Always stay positive when things do not go your way. Yes, we lost the preparation phase, but that simply means we now get the chance to prove ourselves at the one place that matters: defending our own castle. 🏰
Look on the bright side. The enemy will come to us, so nobody has to travel, and we finally get to find out whether all the energy we spent on each other can also be used against someone else.
Fingers crossed. 😊
#36
Always read carefully, because words matter. When it says “invader”, it means a warrior from the opposing kingdom, the one standing between us and their castle. 📖
It does not mean your neighbour, the ally who showed up late or anyone who has lived in 1702 for months, however tempting it is to hit someone who cannot fight back.
Yes, the real invader hits back. We know. That is why so many prefer the easier targets. 😊
#35
Always give everyone an equal chance to fight for the castle, which is why the spots around it were carefully reserved in advance for those who are clearly more deserving than the rest of us. 🏰
Please do not worry if you were not on the list, which was made with great care by people who knew exactly who would need those spots, and by pure coincidence turned out to be mostly themselves.
Equality means everyone gets a spot. Some just get the one next to the castle. 😊
#34
Always invest wisely, because money can buy power, status and an extremely impressive account, so victory is clearly just one more checkout away. 💳
It is therefore fascinating to see a huge fortune, spent with great dedication, still lose to people who mostly just showed up and pressed the right buttons, which can only mean one thing: not enough has been spent yet.
Please spend more. Victory is a limited offer, and so is your bank account. 😊
#33
Always welcome newcomers with open arms, because nothing says “hospitality” like hitting them six times before they have even unpacked. 🤝
Simply hand over your leadership, prove that you are a peaceful guest, and you may stay for as long as we feel like it, while your troops become our trophies and your resources a heartfelt contribution to our growth, which is honestly a gift to you.
Please keep conversation to a minimum. We are very busy being generous. 😊
#32
Never attack your neighbours, because it is strictly forbidden and anyone caught doing it will be sent straight to prison, where they can reflect on the importance of fairness. ⚖️
Our justice system is flawless and perfectly impartial, which is why the elite, who are naturally far too important to be bothered by a silly little rule like this, are always so relaxed, so free and so strangely popular with the people who decide these things.
Truly a coincidence. 😊
#31
Always show gratitude. Especially when someone sends you gems. 💎
Thank you, generous ones. Such kindness. Such timing. Nothing says “we love your feedback” like a pile of gems.
We have decided to see it as encouragement. Not as a bribe. Not as a hint. Definitely not as a request to stop.
So the series continues. Please send more. Our opinions are very affordable. 😊
#30
Always enjoy the quiet. No complaints. No arguments. No one foolish enough to type. Beautiful. Also suspicious.
The calm is not peace. It is the part where someone checks who is still unshielded.
So relax. Post an island. Believe the chat is empty because people are happy.
In 1702, silence is rarely the ending. It is the loading screen. 😊
#29
Always discuss things openly. Volume is a form of wisdom. The loudest opinion is usually the correct one, especially if nobody can hear the other one.
So discuss. Then discuss louder. If they bring facts, discuss over the facts. Facts are quiet. You are not.
If the chat catches fire, that means the discussion is going well. Heat is engagement. Some people leave. This is called consensus.
In 1702, agreement is mostly just whoever is still shouting. 😊
#28
Always set clear goals. 💞 If your goal is to create a peaceful kingdom, and almost everyone who disagreed with you has left, stopped talking or disappeared, congratulations. Look how peaceful it is now. No arguments. No resistance. Barely any people.
Some might call that destruction. But that’s just negativity.
You can’t have conflict if there’s nobody left to argue with. 😊
#27
Always celebrate your victories. Especially when you’ve invested an enormous amount of money to become overwhelmingly powerful. Eventually, all that purchased strength deserves to be tested.
It’s a bit like buying a tank and using it to win a fistfight against a parking meter.
Technically, you won. Nobody can take that away from you. Nobody is particularly impressed either. 😊
#26
Never give up hope. 💞 Sometimes you’re stuck in a difficult situation and there seems to be no end in sight. But things can change.
The noise may stop. The annoying problem may disappear. Peace may finally return. Perhaps even very soon.
So keep believing. It’s adorable. 😊📢
#25
Never shout into the void. You never know what might answer.
Some ghosts are best left in the past. Don’t call their name. Don’t investigate them. Don’t ask where they went or whether they’re secretly someone else. Just let them rest.
Silence usually means nobody is there. Usually. But are we absolutely sure? 👀
#24
Never be too dramatic. 💞 Stay calm, avoid unnecessary whining and don’t assume everything is about you.
For example, if someone posts completely general advice and you somehow feel personally attacked by it, take a moment to reflect. Perhaps the message wasn’t aimed at you at all.
And if it was… Well. That’s an unfortunate coincidence. 😊
#23
Never stop recruiting. If your community becomes quiet, the solution is simple: find active people who want to grow, participate and build something together. 💞
Tell them about the opportunities. Tell them about the teamwork. Tell them they can grow with you. You may want to leave out why you’re currently looking for active people.
Recruitment is about the future. The past asks far too many questions. 😊
#22
Never underestimate the value of silence. A quiet community is often a sign that everything is working perfectly. No arguments. No complaints. Sometimes entire hours can pass without anyone saying anything at all.
Some might call that inactivity. But that’s terribly negative.
If almost everyone has left, technically there is also almost nobody left to be unhappy. 😊
#21
Always invest in your community. The more you put into it, the stronger, healthier and more active it becomes. And 1702 is a beautiful example.
An extraordinary amount of money has been invested here, and the results speak for themselves. Just look at all the activity.
Take your time. Keep looking. I’m sure someone will appear eventually. Money well spent. 😊
#20
Rules are important. They apply equally to everyone, unless you’re drunk, angry, or simply don’t feel like it. Rules take time to accept. Especially when the rule is basically “we attack everyone I don’t like.”
And never get angry. Share your opinion instead. Open discussion creates better rules. Just be careful.
Historically, sharing an opinion in 1702 has occasionally resulted in becoming ash. 😊
#19 · second version
Always celebrate your victories. Never let anyone diminish an achievement just because the competition was slightly limited. You showed up. You fought. You captured the castle. You won.
Could more people have challenged you? Perhaps. But history does not remember who wasn’t there.
Mostly because there were quite a lot of them.
#19
Always create clear principles. Make them fair. Make them reasonable. Make sure everyone knows that discussion, equality and peaceful growth are important.
Once written, keep them somewhere safe. Preferably somewhere nobody can accidentally compare them with what you actually do.
Principles are valuable things. That’s why they should remain in excellent condition.
#18
Never be afraid to admit when you’ve hurt someone. Taking responsibility, acknowledging what happened and offering a sincere apology can repair relationships and help people move forward.
Especially if active players were zeroed and others were driven away. Sometimes saying “we were wrong” is all it takes.
Who knows? Certain annoying problems might even disappear completely. 😊
#17
Never get emotionally invested in a kingdom. Stay relaxed, enjoy yourself and remember that nothing here is worth getting upset about. If something annoys you, simply let it go.
Or calmly explain how little you care. In detail. Several times. Preferably in multiple messages.
People might otherwise mistakenly think you’re emotionally invested. And that would be embarrassing.
#16
People often say money can’t buy friendship. That’s ridiculous. Spend enough and people will absolutely stand beside you, support you and perhaps even follow you wherever you go. It’s actually a very efficient system.
Just keep spending. Because the awkward thing about friends purchased through power is discovering what happens when that same power eventually turns on them.
Fortunately, money can probably buy new ones.
#15
If you’re new to 1702, always feel free to speak in WC. A healthy community welcomes different voices, opinions and conversations.
Of course, this may result in threats of complete destruction. Your city will burn. Everything will be lost. Your existence erased. Terrifying stuff. You may even be forced to teleport slightly further down the map.
So think carefully before speaking. Some people are prepared to move mountains. Or, apparently, your city.
#14
Never let other people’s frustration silence you. Your voice matters, and you should always feel free to take part in the conversation.
If people become annoyed because you talk too much, don’t take it personally. Give them some space. Then use a megaphone.
It’s important to respect people’s boundaries. It’s even more important to make sure they can still hear you. 📢
#13
Never be afraid to surprise people. Do something completely unexpected. Break your usual routine. Show everyone a side of you they never knew existed.
Share a picture of your dog. Months later, people may still remember that brief moment when nobody was threatened, investigated, blamed, attacked or asked to surrender.
Just a dog. It was a strange day in 1702.
#12
If someone is struggling to reach a goal, support them. Give them the tools, time and resources they need to succeed. Or punish them before they fail.
Take away their resources. Injure the troops they need to gather more. Then remind them that they still need to reach 10 million points.
If your own people fail too, attack them as well. That’s not bad planning. That’s consistency.
#11
Always set clear and achievable goals. For example: eliminate every enemy city. Attack them until they disappear. Do not worry about where they went.
If you can no longer see the cities, they are obviously gone. Some people may claim they simply teleported somewhere else.
Those people are focusing far too much on details. Mission accomplished.
#10
When things are peaceful, appreciate it. But stay alert. Peace can be suspicious.
Ask a few questions. Investigate old conflicts. Request reports. Reopen something everyone forgot about. Find someone who remembers another problem.
If you still can’t find a crisis, create a small misunderstanding. Sometimes peace just needs a little help ending.
#9
Sometimes one person really can bring an entire kingdom together. Different alliances. Different opinions. Old enemies. People who normally couldn’t agree on what day it is.
And yet, somehow, The Anticipated Incident found a way to unite them all. 😍 That takes dedication. Consistency. Years of hard work.
Thank you, TAIiiii. 1702 may never have agreed on everything. But they certainly agreed on you.
#8
Always be willing to compromise. Start by presenting your terms. If they disagree, explain that the terms remain unchanged.
If they suggest alternatives, remind them that negotiations are not actually taking place. Eventually, they will understand.
Compromise is much easier when only one side is doing it.
#7
Always support your arguments with evidence. If the discussion is about personal attacks, provide battle reports. Preferably many of them.
They don’t need to contain any personal attacks. That would be an unnecessarily specific requirement.
What matters is that they are reports. And you have a lot of them.
#6
Never judge a group by the actions of one person. Or assume he belongs to an alliance and burn the entire thing.
Later, you may discover he wasn’t a member. Never had been. Had absolutely nothing to do with them. That’s unfortunate.
But at least you acted quickly.
#5
Never let your circumstances limit you. Maybe you lost the battle. Maybe another kingdom has literally put you in prison. Stay confident. Continue issuing demands.
Add new conditions. Set deadlines if necessary.
Your physical location does not determine your authority. Apparently, neither does having authority.
#4
Never take criticism personally. Listen carefully, remain calm and identify exactly who said it. Then attack someone else.
They may have never met the person, heard of the argument or understand why their castle is suddenly on fire.
That is not important. Accountability is complicated. Finding coordinates is not.
#3
Always choose peace. Diplomacy, cooperation and mutual understanding can solve almost any disagreement. But first, burn everything.
Once the castles are smoking and nobody remembers what the argument was about, negotiations become significantly easier.
Peace is always possible. Sometimes it just requires removing everyone who disagrees with it.
#2
Communication brings people together. Never be afraid to join WC and express yourself with a friendly emoji. But choose that emoji carefully.
The wrong tiny yellow face may cause your castle to burn and your bloodline to be removed from the historical record.
Sometimes 😊 is just 😊. Sometimes it is a declaration of war.
#1
Never be afraid to express yourself. Be creative. Build something beautiful. Make your island truly yours. Just don’t show anyone.
One decoration may offend someone, and before you know it, your castle is burning and your coordinates are being studied as an archaeological site.
Be yourself. Quietly.
